Have Beagley Nose will travel! Hi! I'm Beatrice, but you can call me Bea! I am a super happy-go-lucky 1-1 1/2 yr old Beagle girl who is loving life! I LOVE playing with other doggies, so having a pup sibling to play with would be ideal or at least regular play dates. Did someone mention kitties?? I love kitties and think they all want to be my best friends. I love people and burrowing into my blankets and love the creature comforts of soft beds and blankies. My foster mama says that because of my obsessive sniffing ability that I need a family with a very secure fence, who will give me personal one-on-one attention while I am outside, as I could easily become an escape artist if the opportunity presented itself!

Bea has been spayed and micro-chipped, and she is up to date on preventative medications. All children in her forever home must be 6 years of age, or older.

Piper is a super affectionate and fun loving girl. She is curious, and energetic, loves to play fetch, and she enjoys our daily walks and she adores all food. Piper is 100% cuddle bug, snuggle time is the best! She gets along well with all of the other dogs in her foster home. Piper is doing well on her house training, she is crate trained and rides well in the car. She is learning how to walk on a leash and basic commands and is doing well with both.

Piper would do best in a home where her humans aren't gone for long hours and where she'll get all the exercise she will need to keep her happy and engaged. A fenced-in yard and a playmate would definitely be a plus. All children in her home should be 6 years of age and over.

Piper has been spayed and micro-chipped, and she is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications.

Hi, my name is Chunky (for obvious reasons, of course), I certainly have my share of handsome wrinkles to grow into. I was born on March 3rd, so I am almost 3 months. I am a lab-boxer mix. I was born and lived outside in a doghouse with my sister and brother for my first 6 weeks. Then we were picked up and went into rescue. Our lives changed for the good that day. My foster home has other dogs that I love to play with. Pull toys and crinkle toys are so much fun now that I know what they are. There is another cool toy on the door they call potty-bells, but I am only allowed to play with it when I have to go potty or to go out. Right now I am learning basic commands. I have aced the sit thing since I get lots of treats when I do it. I am crate trained and sleep through the night. I am also currently learning leash walking. I usually fall asleep on car rides but don't take it personally, watching all the stuff go by so fast makes my eyes tired.

Since I am still a puppy, my forever home must be one where children are 6 years of age, or older. I am up to date on my vaccines. I will be neutered and get my microchip before leaving my foster home.

Breed: Shih Tzu Mix
Sex: Male
Weight: 12-15 lbs- adult
Born: May 2018 (1 yr 4 mos)
Color: Black with White
Date Adopted: August 19, 2018

Ollie is a sweet and spunky fellow who is always up for an adventure. He loves to explore the world around him, so he would do best with a home that intends to include him in on all of the fun. He is beginning his obedience lessons and crate training, and he is learning how to walk on leash too. He would love the companionship of another dog in the home, and he currently lives with cats too- so he is learning his kitty manners.

Since Ollie is such a young pup, he requires a home where his humans are not gone for long hours. All children in the home should be 10 years of age, or older. Ollie will be available to go to his new home on or shortly after, August 11th.

Ollie is a 4 Paws Pup. Due to this classification, his adoption fee is $275.00.

If you are a lover of cute and scruffy terriers, then Henry may just be your guy. He is learning so many new things in his foster home, and he has blossomed nicely with his foster family. He can be a bit nervous when meeting new dogs and humans, so appropriate introductions and continued socialization are a must. Once he is comfy, he is a very sweet and spunky companion who will keep you laughing, as well as on your toes. He loves to play with other dogs after he has a chance to get to know them, so another dog in the home that can serve as a role model would be best. He is a bit too much for kitties, true to his terrier heritage; he tries to chase them for entertainment- so a kitty-free home would be best. A physical fence is required for Henry to ensure he keeps up his good potty habits and has lots of safe space to explore and play. Henry has begun his obedience lessons and requires a home that will keep him active, and is willing to continue his training.

Henry has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccines and preventative medications. He requires a home where all children are 12 years of age and over, and where his humans are not gone for long hours.

My name is Thor and I am full of love. I will be your walking or running companion and I get along great with other dogs--big or little. I really love to have play dates. I have been living with these things called cats and they seem pretty cool. We mostly ignore each other but sometimes one likes to rub all over me. I maintain my composure even though I think it is a bit weird. I walk well on the leash and am good about going in my crate if I need to. But, I am also good in the house alone--just leave me some of my own toys to play with or chew. I do love all people and have been told to not lick everyone with kisses. I can't help it, I just get so excited saying hi to everyone. But, I guess you can motivate me with treats. I am currently under-going heartworm treatment and will need to be on heartworm preventative the rest of my life. Are you ready for me to love you? I am ready to be forever loved.

Tulip had a rough start in life, but you would never know it from her kind and loving spirit. She has seen some of the less than appealing parts of life, yet her affinity for humans and all of the wonderful things that we offer always shines through. Tulip loves living indoors, and even though this is a new experience for her- she is very well behaved in the home. She adores the companionship of other dogs and would love for her forever family to have a canine already in the home, or to be able to socialize often. Even though she is a solid medium energy dog, we would prefer for her to have a fenced in yard so that during the times she feels the need; she can show off her top speed capabilities. She is learning how to play ball, and she loves a nice stroll or hike too- but her true love is anything that brings her time with her humans. Tulip is doing well with her obedience lessons and would love a family that is willing to continue her training.

Tulip has been spayed, Micro-chipped, vaccinated, and is on preventative medications. Now all she needs is for her fabulous forever home to find her. She is a companion of a lifetime, so we intend to ensure she feels the same way about her family too.

Sweet Betsey Beagle! Betsey is the most loving little girl you will ever meet. She is quiet, calm and very affectionate. Betsey wants nothing more than to stay by your side or even better!, sit in your lap. Betsey has a gentle personality. Regardless of the daily commotion of her multiple-dog foster home, she stays above the fray. Betsey has a "live and let live" attitude to life and thus she is very companionable with other dogs - big and small. She is the most tolerant and accepting dog her foster caregiver has had the pleasure of fostering.

Betsey does have the Beagle nose and she loves to explore where it takes her. On her walks, every smell is of great interest and something she'd like to pursue. Thus, Betsey will need a fenced yard to keep her from following her nose when she outside and not walking on leash.

Betsey is housetrained and current on vaccines. She is looking for a family who will love her as much as she will certainly love them.

Hi, My name is Jacqueline and I am looking for a furever home that will have people that can keep up with me, I am the life of the party. I get along great with other dogs. I also love children but I am still learning how to be gentle so I require a home with children that are age 6 or older. I am crate trained and potty trained. I will go sit by the door to go out and am learning how to ring a bell when I need to go potty too. I love to play ball and I will bring the ball back too. I am learning how to walk on a leash and I am doing pretty good so far. Car rides are a lot of fun too. Playing in puddles is another favorite thing for me to do, so my foster family is pretty sure I will be a water loving dog just like my breed suggests. In the evening I have to rest from all my adventures so the best place to do that is cuddling next to you, giving kisses while we chill.

Jacqueline has been spayed and microchipped and has received all age appropriate vaccines. She is also on preventative medications. As her bio suggests, she requires an active family- one that is willing to also continue her obedience lessons. Since she is a young pup, she needs humans that are not gone for long hours.

Gemma is a gem and a joy! She has a happy, easygoing and gentle personality. She is very accepting of strangers - humans and canines alike. Gemma is sociable, affectionate and VERY playful with her human and her canine friends.

Gemma is great on leash and responds well to basic commands. She aims to please. And she does please: she is such a warm and cuddly girl. Gemma will make one very lucky family a wonderful life-long companion. Gemma's fondest hope is that her family will have a nice fenced yard and another fun-loving canine companion for her to romp with. These are essentials for her.

PLEASE NOTE: Gemma came into CARE's foster program with fractures in her two back legs. The fractures have healed and Gemma is very mobile. She runs about and plays up a storm! However, she does have arthritis in the legs due to these injuries. She will always require daily glucosamine tablets and daily exercise. Occasionally she will need pain medication.

Skip is irrepressible! True to his terrier nature, Skip is a bundle of gleeful energy. He skips, prances and dances about - a slow, sedate walk is NOT Skippy's style. He has a hard time containing his enthusiasm for just about everything he sees or encounters. Needless to say, Skip LOVES to play. He is always up for a fun, energetic romp with his canine friends.

Skippy is also a bundle of love. He truly thrives on human companionship and is very affectionate. Cuddle time is Skip's favorite time. He earnestly wants to do what his humans ask of him and he is eager to be the best companion dog ever.

Skippy has all the potential to be the best companion dog ever for the right home: a home with a fenced yard, at least one other canine companion for him to play with and an adopter experienced with dogs.

PLEASE NOTE: While Skip is very friendly with other dogs (he lives in a foster home with 6 other dogs), he is anxious when he meets other dogs while walking on leash. Skip is learning to calm down and suppress his anxiety, but he will need an experienced adopter to help him to continue to improve his leash walking encounters with unknown dogs.

Phoebe is the sweetest little bundle of love around. She is a wonderful companion to her humans and loves to be around dogs, both big and small. She would love another canine in her forever home, or to be able to socialize with other dogs often. She also is appropriate with kitties too, she hasn't met a person or animal that she doesn't like. She is learning her leash lessons and obedience lessons, and is doing well with her house training.

Since Phoebe is such a wee pup, she requires a home where all children are 10 years of age or older. A fenced in yard is preferred to keep her safe, though due to her small size she should never be left alone. She also needs a home where her humans are not gone for long hours. Flash is an active and intelligent adolescent that loves to please, adores new adventures, and really enjoys having his people around. He would do best in an active home, one that would like him to join in on all of the family fun. He loves the company of other playful dogs and would enjoy a good role model in his forever home, or to be able to socialize with other dogs frequently. He has also been respectful of the kitties in his foster home, but since he is an adolescent, he would do best with dog savvy cats.

Flash would do best in a home with a fenced in yard, so that he can get out all of his extra energy and play safely. He loves to play fetch, so having an enclosed yard would definitely be a plus. Hi, my name is Bonnie and I am on the search for my furever home. I am already potty trained and will ring a bell when I have to go potty. I sleep through the night and am very comfortable in my crate. I am still learning basic commands but I am a fast learner doing well. I get along with other dogs and I am curious about cats that I have seen, but I do not currently live with any.

My forever home must be one where all the children are at least 6 yrs old or older, and my humans aren't gone for long hours. . I am a big playful puppy who might be overwhelming for those that are younger. I love playing with tug toys with my brother Clyde, so I'd love to have another dog in the home, or to be able to socialize often with other dogs. I also can snuggle and give lots of kisses too, so humans who are looking for a buddy in activity and cuddles are a must. I am working on car rides but still get sick occasionally, with lots of good experiences; I should grow out of it. I am up to date on shots and microchipped, I'm ready for my forever family. Please consider me while looking for a furry new addition to your family.
