Chatham Animal Rescue & Education, Inc. (CARE) depends on a unique and dedicated group of foster volunteers to help us save more lives! CARE does not have a shelter, therefore we can only rescue as many cats and dogs as we have space for in our volunteer foster caregiver network. Longer-term foster caregivers are needed and we ask for at least a one-year commitment. By fostering a homeless animal, you can experience the joys of helping an animal in need. However, fostering is not necessarily easy. Fostering takes a great deal of time and energy – both emotional and physical.
